Welcome to my blog. My name is Mark Heckmann. I hold a diploma in business administration and engineering and in psychology and a PhD in psychometrics from the University of Bremen, Germany. Currently, I work as a data analyst at Deutsche Bahn.
As a side business, I work as a business consultant in the field of organizational diagnostics and market research (more under www.talkingdata.de). This blog is basically about everything that attracts my interest. The blog is mostly written in German as it is primarily of interest to locals.
One of my special interests is data analysis and R programming. For this purpose my learning process in R is documented at my „R“ you ready? blog.
